Nicholas Negroponte

Nicholas Negroponte is founder and chairman of the One Laptop per Child non-profit organization. He is currently on leave from MIT, where he was co-founder and director of the MIT Media Laboratory, and the Jerome B. Wiesner Professor of Media Technology.

Born in Medellin, Colombia, he completed his Bachelor's Degree in Architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1965, and was elected president of the Colombian Society of Architects in Medellín in 1975.

Satish Jha has worked at the intersection of technology and management both in global markets and the social space. He has served as a global information management executive with two of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies and as CEO of a consulting firm.

Anthony Wong has three decades of experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors. He is now helping OLPC to promote and develop its mission in China and South East Asia.

Walter De Brouwer

President and CEO, OLPC Europe

OLPC Europe is an NGO, which cooperates with Fondation Roi Baudouin. The Foundation assists in the funding and setting up of investment syndicates for LDCs (Least Developed Countries), NICs (Newly Industrialized Countries) and failed states, and serves as liaison between EU Development Agencies, the International Development Organizations present in Brussels and the CSR departments of corporations worldwide.
